Becoming a paid member of the Brevard Astronomical Society (BAS) provides an opportunity to learn about astronomy, observing, and equipment from other members during our meetings and star gazing events. We welcome you to share your experiences and knowledge with the other members no matter your skill, experience or age level. You can be a part of this special group of amateur astronomers exploring, educating, and sharing our views with each other and our local community.

The Brevard Astronomical Society is an all-volunteer organization. Your $25 annual family membership dues support the administrative operation of the organization, activities or astronomy equipment as approved by the current paid Membership and Executive officers. Please use the link below (New Member Signup Online) to request becoming a new member of the organization. You can pay the $25 annual family membership dues in person to the Treasurer at the next monthly meeting or:

After you complete the online membership request, please return here to get the ID for the Zelle online payment or the address to mail the check. Any new membership paid after October 1st automatically continues through the next calendar year.

If you are already a member, there is no need to register here again. You can pay annual family membership dues at a future monthly meeting, mail in a check or send a Zelle payment.

Please note that Zelle sends us the primary name on the originating bank account and we will use that to match up to your Membership information. If for some reason, you use an account that does not use the name you registered under, please send us email notification of the account name used so we can correctly assign the payment.
